Financial Analyst Role:
The person in this role will report to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analyst and will assist with analyzing business trends and results and provide financial decision support.
Handles budgeting and forecasting, operational efficiency, and process improvements
Heavy focus on providing consistent actionable insights
In this role, you will use sound judgement and discretion to analyze and interpret complex financial information.
Responsible for identifying trends, variances, and key issues and providing recommendations for adjustment
Assist with creating and producing reports on P&L areas including payroll, revenue, contract services, and purchasing
Assist with providing innovative, high value-added financial information and supporting analysis to the management team for strategic planning and decision making
Perform a broad range of ad-hoc projects focused on reducing costs and driving operational efficiencies
Provide financial support to the organization
Participate in the annual planning process and routine forecasts
Prepare Executive performance reports and ensure information is complete and accurate
Identify areas for improvement in processes and reporting
Monitor detailed P&L for accuracy
Develop working knowledge of billing regulations for each market served and apply as needed
Financial Analyst Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
2 - 5+ years finance experience
Knowledge of various Accounting Software
Professional presence and excellent communication skills
Demonstrated experience in a high transaction environment.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting
Experience with corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis and reporting
General ledger systems and systems integration experience preferred
Ability to communicate results in a clear and concise manner to all levels including executive level
The ideal person will be results driven, problem solver, self-starter
Highly analytical, organized, with a high degree of attention to detail
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced Excel skills
