Contracts Administrator

This Contracts Administrator role is an important part of the USG (U.S. Government) Spare/Repair Contracts Team. This position performs proposal preparation and contract administration tasks. This position interfaces with functions, Integrated Program Teams, COEs, and Customers to coordinate contracting and compliance actions. Works within FAR / DFAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) and the USG (U.S. Government) acquisition processes.

This position also maintains contract systems, reports / metrics, data, correspondence, and files. This position is based at Bell's headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

* Coordinate RFPs / RFQs and Estimate Requests (ERs) with internal and external customers.

* Coordinate basic proposals; providing pricing and proposal guidance.

* Support negotiations and contract definitization.

* Access, maintain and utilize Bell information management systems.

* Coordinate terms and conditions and contractual documents and requirements.

* Structure, coordinate, and administer all new aircraft deliveries.

* Interact with Contracts team and the Executive Director to support the structure of deals, related agreements, and contract terms to maximize revenue.

* Document production involved with the closing/approval of aircraft to the customer.

* Manage extensive functional coordination between multiple internal departments to ensure effective and efficient compliance with contractual and customer requirements.

* Administer contract from time of signature to delivery of the aircraft.

* Coordinate with Export/Import compliance to ensure all proper licenses and permissions are accomplished as required by law.

* Act as primary point of contact and lead for contract construction on special contract terms. Ensure contracts are acceptable to the customer's needs while still meeting the financial and business objectives established by Bell Helicopter Management.

* After the contract has been executed, issues necessary internal documents to assure the applicable departments are aware and understand Bell's obligation under the terms of the contract.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration – or related discipline – is required.

Position Requirements:

* 2 years of experience in Contracts, Pricing, Business Management, or Procurement

* Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and handle a variety of Contracts assignments

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as this role will be engaging with USG customers daily via phone calls.

* Ability to work effectively with customers and representatives from other departments.

* Strong PC proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

* Intellectual Curiosity / Continuous Learner Mindset

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Familiarity with FAR Federal Acquisition Regulations / DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) and the U.S. Government acquisition process
