This position is responsible for maintaining test support systems such as water distribution plumbing, lighting and electrical systems, and building services. Perform preventative maintenance for Test Support equipment such as water pumps, electric motors, water distribution systems, tire mounting/balancing machines, air compressors, and asphalt test surfaces. Supports construction or upgrade of existing facility utilities using heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and graders. Fabrication of custom test equipment hardware necessary for prototype testing. Execute and close out electronically assigned Work Orders including preventative maintenance tasks, unscheduled repairs, and custom work requests.
- High School diploma and 2-4 years of general maintenance experience
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, email and web-based navigation.
- Basic experience with metal fabrication, plumbing, residential or commercial electrical systems
- Basic electrician skills (wiring, three phase motors, etc)
