Title: Field Support Representative IV – MCST Lead – Contingent upon award

Position Summary:

Leads and executes contract-specific multi-site Army training doctrine support for numerous Southeast Region Army National Guard units including end-user training, training improvements and upgrades, develop and maintaining schedules, system integration, and data migration. Mentors, leads, and trains others.

Essential Functions:

* Supervises and insures the instructors remain operationally, doctrinally relevant, ready to perform missions, and reports to site lead.Leads and executes significant elements of the integrated support program activities. Validates deliverables per contract requirements. Leads the support elements and participates in site surveys.

* Provides an initial plan outlining a comprehensive instructor training and certification program as part of the proposal.This program will address their plan for cross training for all personnel and their plan to ensure all employees.

* Oversees and performs system integration.Duties include classroom setup, networking of systems and supporting simulations, instruction on applicable mission command systems, and workstations to support the architecture.Ensures and validates end-to-end system functionality for the units.

* Provide individual instruction on Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) utilizing an integrated classroom concept where students not only learn how to operate the system under training, but how that system integrates with other MCIS in building a common operating picture (COP).

* Collective MCIS Instructors provide support to include individual through collective MCIS training, database preparation and maintenance; and scenario creation.

* Establishes and implements security requirements. Promotes security awareness to mitigate security risks.

* Responds to customer inquiries and documents issues. Coordinates responses and verifies resolution. May assist in the development of the customer contact plan.

* Assesses and documents training needs. Oversees (schedules, coordinates, plans) development and delivery of training as needed to enhance end-user understanding and performance. Implements improvements as necessary.

* Performs risk assessments to minimize change impact. Leads, mentors and trains others in change management processes.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Typical Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Certified and current with Army training doctrine. Each instructor has at least 5years of instruction and 2 years of MCIS teaching experience; has served as assistant instructor for the same courseware; has completed a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army MCIS and software systems and has completed a formal course of study in the subject(s) to be taught; be a subject matter expert who has operated the system; and has experience of not less than five (5) years' service in or support to the Army or other national defense service.
