Currently, we are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join the ArcBest team. It will be up to you to manage incoming customer requests and field email requests in order to build proper quotes for analyst pricing. Utilizing your superior customer service skills and all necessary resources, you will uphold effective customer, station, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent Time Critical and Truckload scenarios.

Your contribution may include:

* Providing accurate information on Time Critical and Truckload services.

* Assisting in mode optimization.

* Working with drivers to receive accurate tracking details.

* Answering customer requests via phone and email.

* Timely notification of service options, conflict resolutions, rate negotiations, and re-consignments.

* Maintaining communication to ensure freight delivery within the customer's expectations.

* Mastering multiple complex computer programs.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Support team in Fort Smith, AR. This will be a week day shift of Monday - Friday, with hours of operation ranging between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, working an 8 hour shift during that time.
