The Manager Quality Documentation (CDI) and Coding is responsible for addressing the strategic and tactical needs of the assigned operational areas. Provides oversight and manages workflow, physician support, staff, and budgets. Examples of the groupings of responsibility include: Clinical - Nursing, ED, Pharmacy; Clinical Ancillaries - Lab, Radiology, Surgical Services; or Production Support and Special Projects.

Ability to build consensus across functional areas and levels of clinicians on complex solutions or issue resolution. Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands. Strong networking and communication skills. Proven analytical ability required to resolve problems and provide clinical and documentation/coding support, conduct on-going audits, participate in documentation evaluations, and identify areas of concern and future focus. Strong leadership skills with successful experience with managing a team of direct and indirect reports.
