Corporate Events - Senior Director

Role Purpose:

To deliver world class and globally consistent event experiences for Gartner associates.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Responsibility for delivery of Corporate Events and specials projects as required

* Responsibility for developing and delivering a first class Winners Circle/Club 300 attendee experience

* Responsibility for the Winners Circle/Club 300 onsite experience: Including but not limited to Group Event Production (Welcome Reception, Kick Off, Theme Party, Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony), Top Achiever Lunch, Circle Lounge, Circle Club

* Work closely with the Managing Vice President, Corporate Events to build an exceptional team both internal and external to Gartner to deliver the programs

* Lead, motivate, communicate and ensure effective collaboration across the pre-event and onsite teams

* Selection and management of external suppliers/freelancers including negotiation of contracts and SOW's beneficial to Gartner

* Build effective relationships with wide range of external partners ensuring clear comprehension of Gartner priorities

* Effective project management including ownership and adherence to timelines and templates and accurately track and evaluate results on overall project goals

* Effective Financial Management through appropriate allocation of expense, negotiation of costs and accurate forecasting

* Solution orientated, creative approach to complex and time sensitive challenges

* Continuous improvement through effective feedback collection and evaluation

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience:

* 8+ Years Event Operations Experience

* Proven Budget Management Abilities

* Proven Project Management Experience

* Contract Negotiation and Supplier Management
