Our Corporate Office in Fort Myers, FL is searching for a Compliance Regulatory Specialist (HME) to join our team!

Full-Time, Monday - Friday Work Week, Days (Example: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Salary Range: $ 15.08 - $ 21.38 (p/hour), based on exact experience (some related experience considered)


The Compliance Regulatory Specialist (CRS) is responsible for implementation and facilitation of system-wide Home Medical Equipment (HME) licensure requirements and initiatives.

The position also provides ongoing education to the various Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) offices on State of Florida HME regulatory requirements and policies.

Strong regulatory research skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and develop professional relationships with state agencies (e.g., AHCA).

Also contributes to the training function of the Compliance Department, particularly in the compliance/regulatory area, working with the Compliance Training Manager, the Associate Director of Compliance Operations and the Chief Compliance Officer.

Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.



High school education required.

AA or BS/BA degree (or working toward degree) required.

Ability to research and understand regulations and develop processes, practices and standards to ensure compliance is required.

Excellent organizational and project management skills are required.

The ability to work collaboratively with individuals throughout the organization is required.

Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook are required.

The ability to travel to various FCS locations is required.

Travel: 51%-75%


Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Previous Experience:

Prior experience in a healthcare/medical setting (laboratory, hospital, residential) as well as prior experience with facility/clinic/HME licensing preferred.

Experience in regulatory/licensure research and regulatory compliance preferred.
