Responsibilities

As a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

* Providing advice and recommendations to the Director on all matters relative to the coordination, integration and synchronization, of staff actions, events and activities personally affecting and involving the Personnel Security and Suitability Directorate (PSSD).

* Developing, coordinating, managing, leading, and delivering multiple, critical daily and weekly strategic activities and communications on behalf of the Director.

* Identifying areas needing emphasis, and exercising executive guidance to ensure programs and initiatives accurately meet exceptions.

* Reviewing and evaluating work products from PSSD organizational elements that respond to suspense dates, ensuring they contain cogent and complete information that is responsive to the incoming tasking.

Specialized experience required for this position is: Expert knowledge of Director's management philosophies, policies, and procedures governing administrative and technical aspects of Personnel Security and Suitability Directorate (PSSD) operations and understanding of how these policies and procedures impact office operations, objectives and timing of key events in orchestrating integrating and synchronizing staff actions, events and activities. Making deviations from precedents in order to accommodate rapidly evolving situations and/or cases.
