Summary: Chenega's Access Control System Operator will serve as Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Operators in the AWG Headquarters, performing duties as the IDS operator by controlling and monitoring the operation of the security display system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

* Access Control System Operator will monitor access control, alarms and security cameras.

* Access Control System Operator will monitor the IDS, access, respond or direct response to alarms or unusual, unsafe or unauthorized activities IAW AWG standing procedures.

* Access Control System Operator will recommend changes to access control procedures to reduce opportunities for theft, assault, illegal entry, or other kinds of violations.

* Access Control System Operator will apply maximum access control measures for the protection of property, material, equipment, and personnel.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

* High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience

* In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

* Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in civilian law enforcement, military law enforcement, or civilian security service

* Demonstrated competency in the use of the JPAS system and existing Lenel security system

* Active Top Secret clearance required to start; must be eligible for SCI

* CPR and First Aid (Preferred). If candidate does not currently possess CPR or FA certification we will sponsor, but active TS clearance is mandatory.

* Knowledge of national security program directives and standards is a must.

* Excellent writing and speaking skills are essential.
