Responsibilities

* Provides technical and project management process support essential to the Division?s success in delivering fully integrated and operational Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) strategic project plans.

* Supports Agency efforts to develop operating guidance, test and exercise performance objectives, and implementation plans used in reporting project performance to the Director, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

* Applies a broad knowledge of process management and contract administration policies and procedures, Agency operating principles, and Agency data support systems in the performance of assigned duties.

* Integrates the DCMA Planning Process with Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) efforts to ensure appropriate strategic planning, performance and results reporting.

* Conducts studies, chairs meetings and conferences, and effects coordination among all levels of management within the Agency and key personnel in Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD).

* Prepares and/or coordinates briefings, special reports, responses to data requests for use by the Agency Director and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level NH-03. Specialized experience is defined as: experience in evaluating on the development and implementation of policies, procedures, performance objectives, and goals to develop and manage Agency level initiatives and programs; assists with conducting comprehensive fact finding reviews and provides information to assist the management decision-making process involving the development of project strategies.

Education can not be substituted for experience.
