Inside Sales & Service Supervisor

Job Summary:

As an Inside Sales & Service Supervisor, you will lead a team of Inside Sales & Service Representatives in the Americas to improve the customer experience thru understanding and focusing on what's important to our customers, measuring how we are doing, and driving the necessary actions to improve our overall service level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Inside Sales & Service Team to ensure high performance and complete customer satisfaction
  • Manage resources including recruitment and selection of employees, performance management, skill assessment, providing constructive feedback and corrective action where required
  • Actively work with the Inside Sales & Service Director to promote continuous improvement in service excellence
  • Support Sales Organization to drive revenue and other functional areas within KEMET - Logistics, Business Groups, Finance, IT with meeting corporate initiatives
  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly
  • Communicate and track performance related goals of each team member with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets
  • Continually raise the bar on performance expectation
  • Foster development of staff by coaching and establishing individual employee development plans
  • Plan for succession
  • Optimize cost by promoting lean practices and proactively looking for ways to improve team's efficiency
  • Provide a positive working environment while encouraging open employee communication and valuing diversity
  • Promote teamwork and One KEMET culture

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree with 7 or more years of customer service experience
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Order Management and ERP experience is required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal coaching skills
  • Ability to effectively influence subordinates, peers, and senior management
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, well organized and adaptable with a flexible approach
  • Excellent computer skills including Windows XP, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the electronics industry a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
