Job Description:

The Director of Integration and Enablement is responsible own and drive the strategy and execution of a portfolio of projects focused on the integration of acquired companies and/or the enablement or improvement of new Citrix processes for the global Controllership organization. This individual will lead the integration of new business into existing systems and processes while planning for and implementing new technologies & services that support the Accounting, SEC Reporting, Payroll, Customer Financial Services, Tax, and Treasury teams.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

* Own executive cross-functional relationships, especially during critical, high visibility circumstances. Act as primary point of contact for Controllership teams for all M&A integration as well as business and technology enablement programs.

* Drive implementation and adoption of the strategic framework for the organization including documentation sets, methodologies (project management, quality testing, etc.) and best practices.

* Perform impact analysis on legacy or source systems to identify data models, use cases, and reports and define and execute integration and migration approach.

* Manage the systems and reporting set-up, enablement, integration, and continuous improvement for Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Credit, Revenue Operations, Accounts Payable, Shared Services, and Cost/Inventory Accounting.

* Leverage financial master data best practices to define data set-up requirements that will support business operations and reporting requirements.

* Provide first line support for all post launch activities, including issue triage and resolution.

* Establish and improve processes that protect financials against configuration changes that will present financial misstatement

* Perform test scoping, scenario definition, data validation, and execution of testing across the Controllership organization.

* Partner with IT to initiate, prioritize and drive the systematic solutions that fulfill business needs.

* Acts as subject matter expert in cross-department projects as representative of the capabilities and needs of the Finance and Accounting teams.

* Review solution designs with the IT project teams to ensure systematic solutions are scalable and high quality. Guidance includes configuration suggestions, standard practices, data extraction, and roadmap discussions.

* Maintain existing systems and data, including hierarchies and system configurations as appropriate, according to defined SLAs.

* Provide thought leadership and expertise to all cross-functional organizations regarding accounting systems, reporting, and processes.

* Systems supported include SAP ECC, Hybris, Blackline Integration, BOBJ, SAP BPC (consolidations only), SAP BW, and Vertex and other non-SAP systems such as SFDC, Apttus or other SaaS systems that may be implemented

* Identify training gaps and create training opportunities when needed, including guidance on execution of SAP transactions.

* Perform key functions to recruit top-notch Accounting Systems staff including interviewing, hiring, monitoring, employee feedback and documentation, counseling and coaching, and performance management / improvement when needed.

* Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders outside of Accounting Systems, including Sales, Marketing, Product Groups, Operations, regarding accounting systems and processes.

* Provide ad-hoc system support as required including for month-end and quarter end close process

* Allocate, coordinate, and/or negotiate the availability of cross-functional resources from various departments in Accounting to execute on complex or high-visibility projects or initiatives globally. Define own team structure and drive change as needed to adapt to evolving goals and directions.

* Identify staffing needs; including participate on long term people strategy planning, head count growth projections, and competency planning for Accounting Systems and Reporting teams.


* Ability to interact effectively with executives, functional peer groups and subordinates to gain commitment and cooperation from others, especially those in other departments with competing priorities

* Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills; ability to lead meetings internally and externally and executive briefings. Often takes a leading role in senior level presentations with management teams.

* Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel

* Supported SAP configuration for company with international operations

* Understanding of order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report processes

* Ability to manage expectations

* Ability to influence teams not directly managed by finance

* System implementation experience

* Understanding of cross module/system impacts

* Strives to improve performance and to have a significant impact on department's success

* Has proven success with the development and implementation of at least 2 or more SAP go lives (including FICO module)

* May Perform UAT testing for strategic projects as needed.

* Participate in project teams in cross-functional as well as virtual teams in a supportive capacity as needed.

* Demonstrates strong analytical skills and expert knowledge of all current data systems and business drivers at Citrix

* Manage teams' tasks and ensure completion of assignments under aggressive time constraints.

* Ability to work effectively with a variety of organization, management levels, cultures, and personalities.

* Articulate compelling qualitative and quantitative business cases for systems enhancements

* Effectively gives direction to team members in order to accomplish a goal.

* Domestic and international travel as needed. Ability to accommodate schedule to work off hours to support international discussions, close operations, and project efforts.

* Able to support extended hours of operation (long hours, weekends and holidays) during month-end and/or critical project launch milestones

* Ability to work in shared space

Functional / Technical Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

* MBA or Master's degree preferred

* 8-12 years of Financial/Business Systems Management experience.

* 2-4 years of experience in a M&A integration

* Tax or Audit experience a plus

* Knowledge of corporate ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, or SFDC), including configuration and system design
