We're looking for a Software Support Engineer to join our Development team who loves finding solutions to technical issues, problem solving and helping clients in need. You'll work together with a team of Software Engineers to dive deep into client issues and figure out what's going on, whether through testing, reverse engineering or debugging. As a hands-on Developer with strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills, you'll be called on to find creative solutions to C#/.Net code, SQL stored procedures, Javascript, HTML, data changes, or whatever is needed to solve the problem. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Interacts with Production Support and the customer, when the customer's issue cannot be resolved directly by first and second level Support

* Provides technical assistance and support to customers if issues are encountered

* Analyzes issues as described by the customer through testing, reverse engineering and/or debugging and determines the best course of action to resolve

* Designs and develops creative solutions to C#/.Net code, SQL stored procedures, Javascript, HTML, data changes, or whatever is needed to resolve the issue

* Builds and tests the solution, deploys it to the client's environments, and validates the resolution

* Provides status updates to clients on a regular basis

* Includes all appropriate departments to facilitate a successful resolution to any client issue

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years Microsoft SQL Server general experience

* Minimum of 3 years T-SQL – Stored Procedures experience, Functions, Views

* 5+ years programming experience in a business application environment

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in ASP.Net design and programming

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in C# and .Net Framework design and programming

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in XML

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in JavaScript/JQuery/Knockout

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in HTML and Cascading Style Sheets

* Subversion or other source control protocol knowledge

* Teamwork is a must

* Strong analysis, change control, task management and time management skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication is required to communicate with internal and external customers

* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

* Ability to manage expectations of self and others

* Organized, self-motivated, hardworking, dedicated, with a strong sense of accountability

* Excellent positive customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ability to manage priority amongst multiple issues

* Prior consulting experience

* Comfortable working directly with clients

* HR and/or Payroll background a plus

* Strong decision-making ability

Education/Certification/License:

* A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field is a plus

Travel Requirement:

* Limited travel upon request
