Position Purpose:

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.

Job Summary:

As a Clinical Lead, you will function in first-line management/clinical leadership role in coordinating patient care activities in the Surgical Telemetry Unit; ensures appropriate staffing and coverage for unanticipated needs as well as long and short term staff scheduling; promotes teamwork and collegial relationships with, and among staff; monitors workflow and productivity during shift on unit; intervenes appropriately and keeps the Unit Manager informed of departmental issues.

Job Description Details:


* Bachelor's degree in Nursing. If does not have a Bachelor's Degree needs to agree to start a Bachelor's Program within 12 months and complete within 5 years.


* Previous experience as regular Charge Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse level on a nursing unit required.

Special Training/Skills:

* Specialty certification desirable

* Strong leadership traits, as well as experience with staffing, scheduling, and strong communication skills necessary.


* Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida; BLS
