Project Management/Technical Project Lead Opportunity

**This position requires an Active Secret Clearance**

Responsibilities:
1. Works with the Applications Integration team and project stakeholders to set project key goals and major objectives.
o Expected to maintain focus on company and Directorate strategic goals and objectives, and provide clear technical direction to team members.
o Lead the development and implementation of assigned projects by creating clear and attainable project objectives, allocating developers, and managing risks, dependencies, time and scope.
o Employ technical expertise in design reviews and key decisions as well as risk strategies.

2.Provide technical support to new or existing projects and develop the architecturally significant components of the applications.
o Define and coordinate with other developers the technical tasks for the development of new applications.
o Create and manage application architecture diagrams/plans.

3.As part of the assigned projects, the Technical Project Lead will remove roadblocks, lead communication among project stakeholders, and work with project teams to drive resolution to project issues.
o Assure that all project team members understand their project role and accept the project execution plan.
o Analyze risk and instigate avoidance activities, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating corrective action.
o Analyze the actual project performance against the approved baseline plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
o Manage change to preserve business plan commitments. Initiate Phase Review if objectives/scope must change.
o Communicate technical issues/decisions effectively to the Task Order Manager.

4.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, focused on integration, and ensure that assigned projects support Operational requirements.

5.Execute on assigned projects and communicate of status, actions and issues to all applicable project stakeholders.
o Provide timely reporting to Project Sponsor, government customer and Task Order Manager.
o Employ existing Enterprise Portfolio Project Management templates, process, procedures, and protocols.

6.Develop project plans of assigned projects and secure schedule feasibility and manage resource constraints with other Enterprise Project Leads.
o Responsible for developing a project plan that works to achieve progression criteria by using interim measurable milestones.
o Ensures that the plan is re-evaluated, adjusted and re-negotiated at regular intervals, or when internal data or external information suggests that the timeline may slip or certain objectives may not be met.

o Interact with other areas of the program to ensure resources are available when needed, and to negotiate amendments to the assigned project plan especially those that change deliverable completion dates.

7.Responsible for organizing, facilitating and ensuring follow-up action on assigned projects.

8.Maintain assigned project documentation and ensure their currency.
o Project Plans (MS Project)
o Risk Register
o Project Management Review (PMR) briefing
o Resource Allocation
o Version Description Document (VDD)
o Technical Implementation Plans (TIP)

9.Perform other duties as assigned by the Task Order Manager.
