Dungarvin is seeking qualified Community Support Specialists to assist the individuals we support in leading happy and healthy lives. Staff will support individuals with a variety of activities, including daily living skills, money management, appointments, community integration, medication administration and following their support plans.


In this role, you will provide direct services to the individuals including, but not limited to:

* Assisting the individual in setting and accomplishing important goals.

* Completing shopping trips and errands.

* Budgeting, tracking, scheduling and attending medical appointments.

* Meal planning and schedule making.

* Provide personal cares as needed; each individual is different.

* Other areas of daily living that the individual served may have difficulty addressing independently.

* Assisting with building skills and providing training to prepare people for work.

* Managing a caseload of individuals and completing documentation.

* Ability to make sound judgments when given guidance and priorities.

* Ability to work as a team member to maintain consistency and quality in service provision.

* Ability to exchange support, constructive criticism and ideas with other staff members.

* Computer skills to electronically document throughout your shift using Therap.

* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

* Must pass a criminal background check.

* 18 years of age or older.

* High school diploma or GED.

* High behavior or medical experience preferred.
