About the role:

This position is located in Forbes, but part of the wider Prevention & Response to Violence, Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) – Child Protection Counselling Service.

This position sits within the Community & Allied Health team of Lachlan Health Service. Lachlan Health Service incorporates both Parkes and Forbes and staff often outreach to smaller communities within the catchment.

This is a targeted position in accordance with GSE Rule 26: Employment of eligible persons. Parkes hospital is part of the Lachlan Health Service (which also includes nearby Forbes hospital) and is a major district health service and procedural hospital built in 2015 making it a world-class, contemporary facility that is a highly sought after to work in.

Forbes hospital was refurbished in 2016 so much of the facility is newly renovated, enabling you to look after our community in a bright modern, happy facility with state of the art equipment.
