Position overview:

Responsibilities:

The Senior Director Global Learning is an essential part of the Learning and Organization Development Center of Excellence and is responsible for the global oversight, design, and management of the company's Learning platforms and programs. This position will be part of building a world-class Learning Center of Excellence within the Corporate Human Resources function. It requires a "hands-on" practitioner and one who possesses a passion for and deep expertise in adult learning. The position also requires experience operating in a center-led matrix organization, and one who possesses strong listening and influencing skills, presence and the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and rapid pace of change.

* Define, develop and execute the global L&D agenda and strategy across the organization

* Lead and partner with key stakeholders including business leaders and their HRBPs to identify needs and create leadership development strategies and solutions aligned to needs in line with the learning strategy

* Create and sustain a culture of continuous, self-directed learning in the organization

* Ensure that the Conduent learning ecosystem continuously evolves to meet the changing needs of employees' skill requirements through technology led, cutting edge & scalable learning solutions, tools and processes with focus on 'anytime anywhere' digitally enabled learning.

* Create a world class learning experience for the employees by modernizing the L&D function incorporating adaptive learning, artificial intelligence (AI), mobile learning and social learning networks

* Introduce and evolve Instructional Models/ Design/Concepts as well as a content strategy with curated content at its core

* Ensure that awareness, penetration and utilization of the learning platforms by employees are commensurate with the investments made in the platforms. Evaluate and measure learning impact of high cost training & development programs

* Create and share global learning dashboard/reports at regular intervals with key stakeholders; use metrics & insights to drive a culture of data-driven actions and decision making

* Introduce Accelerated & Experiential learning initiatives as necessitated by business requirements

* Expediently manage budgets and vendors for maximizing return on investment without diluting learning impact. Liaison and partner with finance, procurement and other departments as required to optimize L&D outcomes

* Lead a team of senior learning professionals from across geographies and countries

Skills & Experience:

Work Experience Required:

* 10 years of progressively responsible positions in global matrixed learning organizations

* Led Learning Ecosystem platforms and cost effectively managed vendor relationships

* Has a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing an end-to-end learning and development strategy aligned to the advancement of the business strategy

* Proactively understands business pain points, performance issues and gaps, business priorities and scopes the business problem

* Ability to influence, deliver results and collaborate across functions and teams (both internal and external) including the ability to influence senior leaders

* Strong Leadership skills

* Strong analytical and consultative skills

* Leads with enthusiasm and positive demeanor to inspire and motivate direct and indirect reports, colleagues, department and senior management

* Must be highly collaborative with other colleagues and functional groups

* Ability to serve as strategic business partner and advisor to senior executive leaders, business leaders and other key stakeholders

* Must possess strong communication, negotiation and listening skills to best ascertain needs and partner to build solutions to address them, while adhering to enterprise strategy and compliance requirements

* Must have proven project management skills to move projects/tasks forward

* Must have strong presentation skills and the ability to convey information to all levels of the organization

* Ability to interact effectively with associates at all levels of the organization with dignity, sensitivity and respect

* Must be goal and results-oriented and able to execute plans and implement initiatives with sense of urgency

* Able to achieve results in a fast paced dynamic environment

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline is required; advanced degree in a related field preferred
