Lake House Academy is a year round therapeutic boarding school for young girls ages 10'14. We provide an environment where young girls can reconnect with their families, establish and maintain academic success, and gain the skills needed to thrive as healthy young women. Lake House is located just outside of Asheville, NC surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains which allows our students and families to enjoy a rich variety of recreational and outdoor activities.

Lake House Academy students experience change and growth through a comprehensive program that recognizes the needs of the child and the family. Utilizing adult-guided peer interactions, students are encouraged to re-examine and rethink their perceptions of the world and to recognize and appreciate the opportunities that life holds for them. In addition, we strive to create a "culture" that is highly supportive, nurturing and accepting of all girls despite their individual challenges.


We address each girl's therapeutic, academic, and life skills needs with a carefully integrated approach. While your daughter is going through her own healing and rebuilding process she needs a home that can meet all of her needs Lake House Academy provides guidance, education, compassion, safety, accountability, protection, fun, and love.

It is our mission to provide a that allows for young girls to reconnect and build hope within their families, establish and maintain academic success and gain the skills towards self identity to thrive as young healthy girls.


Administers monthly assessments to students and parents, along with handling follow-up for pending questionnaires in the system.


* Setup and maintain outcome systems: MyOutcomes and OutcomeTools.

* Administers assessments directly to the students for Admission, During Treatment, and Discharge assessments.

* Follows up with parents to collect Admission, During Treatment, Discharge, and Post-Discharge assessments.

* Follows-up with student Post-Discharge assessments.

* Monitors the environment surrounding the girls at all times for safety, and is aware of emergency procedures.

* Punctuality and regular attendance is essential.

* Responsible to work Monday through Friday during school hours.

* Drive to Lake House campus to administer assessments in an efficient timeframe.

* Other duties as assigned.


* Basic skill level with Google products.

* Basic computer skills.

* Professional demeanor.

* Phone skills.

* Knowledge of Lake House's policies found in the training manual(Provided at new hire orientation).

* Skills in problem solving.

* Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid. Will provide training if not currently certified.

* Ability to effectively communicate rules, expectations, and consequences.


* The position requires experience working with at risk youth, or post high school training in mental health.

* A valid Driver's License is required.

* This is a part-time position up to 20 hours per week.

* Pay range is $12-$14 per hour.

* Must be able to pass a background check.
