Supervisor Patient Transportation

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Transportation department which provides patient transport services from within the hospital and discharge. The Supervisor plans, organizes and controls all aspects of daily transport operations. The Supervisor coordinates the volunteer Central Service Desk activity (if applicable) as part of the patient flow process. The Supervisor develops key indicators to measure customer satisfaction, provides team member coaching, counseling and mentoring; and assists the department manager with budgeting, planning and daily operational activities.
