The School of Social Work at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor (CAP) of Social Work. This is a 9-month CAP position. We seek applicants who demonstrate the ability to work with diverse populations as well as contribute to the diversity of the campus and who are well prepared to teach courses in a thriving, cutting-¬edge and accredited School of Social Work.
Job responsibilities would include:
- Teaching four (4) online classes per semester, in both BSW and MSW programs and across at least two (2) curricular domains (HBSE, practice, policy, and research)
- Service to the School of Social Work by serving on committees and mentoring and advising students.
- Providing support for the Child Advocacy Studies (CHAS) certificate and minor program, including coordination, program development, maintenance, student support, and attending relevant trainings.
Although all classes are delivered in an online format, the CAP position is a full-time faculty position and would require the same daily time commitment as those teaching seated classes.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
