We are located in Falmouth, Helston and Penryn. The Falmouth branch is a fully equipped Veterinary Hospital, the Helston branch is a large purpose-built branch surgery and our newest surgery in Penryn is a dedicated small animal surgery.

Rosemullion Vets is a forward looking first opinion and multidisciplinary referral practice situated in the South West of Cornwall. We take referrals from throughout Cornwall and further afield. We are currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to build up our referrals capacity. You will be a certificate holder, or working towards a certificate (our preference would be a certificate in Medicine, Imaging, Dermatology or Cardiology, but please get in touch if you're interested in joining the team and have different qualifications). You will be supported by a team of experienced nurses, and the referral service is well supported by our first opinion vets and nurses providing 7 day and overnight care for in-patients.

We have a central fully equipped hospital in Falmouth and two dedicated small animal branch practices. You will be working in a modern clinic with a strong emphasis on supporting all our staff to ensure we enjoy our work and deliver clinical excellence. You will work alongside a team of experienced and supportive vets and nurses, with varied case load and very interesting cases. We currently have three certificate holders in surgery, ophthalmology and cardiology and 2 staff working toward their Cert AVP (SAS & Ophthal) qualifying this year. We plan to expand our referral service further.

Your New Role: Ideally you will be working 40 hours per week, and join our weekend/OOH rota, but we are happy to discuss applications for Part-time work. Your clinical skills will be used to their full potential and additional professional development will be supported and encouraged.

What you need to succeed: You will have, or be working towards, a Cert AVP or higher. You will be a great team player with a dedication to high standards of owner and patient care. You will have a hard working but flexible mentality, keen to work with your colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.
