2 years in addiction treatment/ mental health treatment
Master's Degree or PhD in mental health, social sciences, or behavioral health related field
Completion of a graduate courses in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical or Psychology Counseling, and Substance Abuse Counseling
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor or equivalent; BLS & CPI. Eligible for certification within one year as appropriate specialty, if any.
BLS obtained in 3 Months & CPI obtained in 6 months.
Licensed in the Common Wealth of Virginia
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSAP)
Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer skills
