What You Will Do:

The Clinical Manager provides ongoing supervision and direction for the technical staff and clinical functions of all Imaging Center teams. Ensures department meets all ACR and Joint Commission standards resulting in highest clinical quality, cost effectiveness, and outstanding customer experiences. Develops and/or implements key organizational processes: Budget, Talent Management (hiring/selection, 30/90 day reviews, performance mgmt., career development discussions, corrective action), Employee Engagement Action Planning, Employee & Customer Rounding, and Regular Staff Meetings. Engages in team's goal development and execution. Manages up, across and down (i.e. seeks from superiors, offers support, systems thinking vs. silo thinking, sets & communicates clear expectations). Promotes a fair, safe and high quality work environment by holding self and staff accountable for adhering to regulatory and VHS policies, procedures and standards. Follow up on equipment service needs and issues to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime while being fiscally conscious. Maintain modality certifications/accreditations. Prepare and/or review payroll and attendance records for staff of assigned areas. Review the OT utilization for staff of assigned areas. Prepare schedules for staffing and on-call coverage. Approve/deny PTO requests in compliance with coverage needs and established policies. Provide assistance and relief coverage support to staff technologists (as needed) for successful performance of the department. Remain updated on CPT code changes and other topics related to billing compliance and initiate any necessary changes. Responsible for charge capture and reconciliation.

What You Will Bring:


Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology.
Bachelor's Degree or CRA required*
*A minimum of 10 years experience in Medical Imaging Leadership in lieu of Bachelor's degree / CRA

3 years - Medical Imaging Leadership required
1 year - Related Supervisory required

Certification & Licensures
ARRT and/or RDMS required
CRA preferred

• Demonstrated leadership, management and strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to precept and mentor other staff members
• Proven experience building successful physician relations
• Demonstrated financial acumen and revenue cycle knowledge
