Responsibilities
Engineering Services Operations Analyst
LOCATION: Evansville Tool Shop
PURPOSE:
The Engineering Services Operations Analyst provides systems and software support for provide support asneeded for the Engineering Services Department, including ongoing continuous improvement of business systems andsoftware across the Evansville Tool Shop facility.
PRIMARY DUTIES include:
Manage and create internal reports and dashboards to improve department metrics
Coordinate projects with various departments for successful alignment and implementation.
Continually analyze operational processes to find areas where we can streamline the business.
Development of tools, reports, and processes to enhance current capabilities.
Development and implementation of sustainable/repeatable processes for operation analytics/management
Development of system tools, specifically – JDE, Job Pack, Cognos, & Ignition - and others as assigned
Provide onsite leadership and support for all IT issues.
Design, test, and deploy system enhancements to support business process improvement.
Develop strong expertise in JD Edwards and Job Pack system functionality and Berry business processes.
Identify improvement opportunities and build business justifications.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
B.S. degree in Business, IT, or equivalent experience required
Formal systems education/training or relevant experience
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and fluent in SQL – Structured Query Language
High-level problem solving skills; analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Excellent business analysis and project management experience required
Able to work with stakeholders at any level in the corporation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of computer programming preferred
Highly motivated to build a thorough knowledge of user functions
Strong commitment to continuous improvement
Advanced knowledge of PC applications
Driven to continue technology and business education
