Administrative Assistant – Human Resources / Liability

Overview: This position administers the company's liability claims relating to company facilities, personnel, product, or vehicles from our corporate office in Eugene, Oregon. The Liability Administrator coordinates with the Liability Supervisor and Vice President of Human Resources to resolve claims in a timely and beneficial manner. Communicates with customers regarding liability complaints. Accurately maintains records in an organized manner.

* Ability to set priorities and organize workload while handling multiple tasks

* Proven ability to provide excellent Customer Service and use proper telephone etiquette

* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

* Ability to address customer concerns with tact and empathy, while remaining firm in conveying company decisions

* Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required

* Ability to learn computer applications as required

* Ability to operate office machines (adding machine, copier, fax, etc.)

* Legible handwriting

* Good math skills

Experience: Prefer one to two years of administrative experience and/or Bi-Mart store experience. Experience working with confidential information preferred.
