Overview

The Talent Specialist is responsible for the overall talent acquisition function for the resort including sourcing and engagement.

Responsibilities

Sourcing:

* Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies consistent with the resort's employer brand to meet business objectives.

* Market resort to appropriate recruitment sites, maintain resort career page and ATS system, as well as applicable social media sites.

* Coordinate with hospitality schools and organizations on events in relation to targeted hires,

* Schedule and attend job/career fairs as a source for generating qualified candidates.

* Responsible for generating Human Resources data reports as necessary to quantify recruiting efforts and progress.

* Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.

Engagement:

* Execute an engagement strategy by identifying the appropriate talent for open positions including phone screening, interviewing, offer letter creation and delivery, and closing/offer acceptance.

* Partner with managers/supervisors in identifying talent needs and the candidate experience.

* Partner with the location in the maintenance of the property staffing guide.

* Interview potential candidates and coordinate secondary interviews with the appropriate managers.

* Assist employees with internal transfers and/or promotions.

* Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks during offer process.

* Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation and transfer request logs.

* Assist with the onboarding of new employees on property during peak arrival periods.

Program Management:

* Manage Applicant Tracking System (iCims) including creation and posting of requisitions and updating screening and disposition processes.

* Oversee the accounts/relationships with key business partners and vendors.

* Develop key metrics including time to fill, quality of hire and turnover.

* Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.

* Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and company records, files, and information.

* Maintain confidentiality in all Human Resources matters.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* High School diploma/G.E.D equivalent

* At least two years of elated work experience as an HR recruiter for a high volume resort or hotel. Supervisory experience a plus.

* Demonstrated professional verbal and written communications skills - strong customer service skills and ability to work well with others.

* Strong relationship & communication skills. Able to convey ideas effectively to a variety of audiences and establish effective relationships.

* Excellent PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook and Lawson and E-Recruiting applications.

* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

* Ability to sit for long periods of time.

* This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Candidate must be able to travel to Death Valley, for on-boarding, heavy employee arrival periods, and annual management meetings.

* Travel to career fairs and/or international recruiting trips to support recruiting efforts.
