Onsite in Colorado

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for developing a strong understanding between the business needs of the stakeholders and how the ServiceNow application will support those needs. You will be part of a ServiceNow platform team, and you will be responsible to continually design and evaluate application features throughout the Agile lifecycle. You will also be responsible but not limited to, support test activities to validate the requirements are successfully implemented in the application.

What you'll be doing

Develop supporting materials to facilitate requirement building such as wireframes, sample dashboards, and user journey maps

Facilitate meetings with process owners and other stakeholders to gather business requirements

Translate business requirements into user stories for the development team

Work with the development team to continuously refine the documented requirements

Perform stakeholder engagement, outreach activities, and participate in Agile ceremonies

Serve as Scrum Master as needed, supporting user story creation, sprint planning, and overseeing the tasks of the development team

Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed based on the requirements gathered

When appropriate, perform testing of the developed stories

What you bring to the team

Bachelor's Degree in business related field

3+ years business analysis experience

2+ years of experience in a ServiceNow development environment

2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment

Excellent communication skills, written and, verbal skills

Excellent organization skills

Experience functioning in a leadership role on an Agile project environment

Desired Skills

Familiarity with ITSM, HRSD and some other basic out of the box functionalities of ServiceNow tool.


Good experience of functional knowledge and implementation experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) Tools and ITIL Processes/Functions.

Experience in project delivery and working directly with customers and client.

Knowledge of ServiceNow workflow configuration and basic java scripting.

Should have good understanding about domain separation

Should have experience in integrations including AD, MID Server and third-party tools using web services, SOAP, REST, etc.

Primary Qualifications:

3 years of experience in technology architecture and implementation on the ServiceNow platform

Atleast 2 years of experience with the ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and HRSD streams

5+ years of total IT experience

Below skills will be preferable:

ITIL certified

ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certified

Experience in HRSD Application

Service Portal

Hands-on ITOM

For Colorado only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act): The expected salary for this position in our Colorado office is $80,000 - $100,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's variable pay program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
