This position will provide services across the life cycle of end user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices) including but not limited to software development, upgrades and patching, issue and security resolution.
Duties, Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Responsible for maintaining multiple applications in support of end users devices and applications on multiple servers, installing, patching , and upgrades
Responsible for application deployment and software management at the organizational level
Responsible for creating software packages to meet organizational, department, and business needs
Partner with and advise internal customers on best practices, solutions gather business requirements, determine impacts, timelines, and installations
Implement solutions that are compliant and stay within budget guidelines
Resolve and update security issues and vulnerabilities (antivirus, malware, encryption, etc) related to or impacting end user devices or applications
Troubleshoot and resolve complex and escalated tickets and incidents opened by end users through help desk, phone calls, and personal visits
Identify and participate in the evaluation of support tools, new technology and process improvements
Participates in strategic projects
Provide outstanding customer service, including off-hour support as needed
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
Other Preferred Qualifications:
Requires 2 to 4 years of Systems related experience working on projects of intermediate complexity.
Teams cooperatively with others to accomplish common goals and achieve synergies. Builds/maintains effective relationships across groups to provide efficient, timely, customer service or client/project support. Applies training and experience to quickly and independently resolve a variety of non-routine and conventional problems.
Uses specialized concepts to apply a solid understanding of department/institutional policies, procedures, methods, principles, and techniques in multiple technical areas and/or business functions. Applies project management skills and demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills.
