We are excited to add to our team a Benefits Account Executive. This is a position within the Client Services Team. This position supports clients from a service role, while working closely with other Client Service Team members, sales team members and applicable carriers and vendors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining an assigned book of business in conjunction with other team members including a variety of clients
  • Handles day to day contact with the client - primarily to answer questions and issue resolution
  • Audits all documents sent to the client for review or signature. This includes, but is not limited to stop loss policy, plan documents, amendments, and administrative service agreements
  • Completes and audits all internal documents in an accurate and timely manner. These include but are not limited to, commission sheets, group sheets, coverage pages, etc.
  • Conducts employee enrollment meetings as requested by the client
  • The Account Executive has a direct relationship with the client

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
  • High School diploma or recognized equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 2+ years related industry experience and/or training, required
  • Thorough knowledge of employee benefits insurance, required

Other Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Ease, Employee Navigator, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe and able to use multiple technology devices
  • Ability to perform duties in a high-pressured, fast-paced environment
  • High degree of critical thinking, organizational and decision-making skills as well as a high degree of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Ability to determine work priorities and remain flexible as needs and priorities change
  • Professional telephone skills and etiquette
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with limited supervision or within a group or team
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, adding, subtracting, multiplying and division
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to required tasks

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, command of the English language and bilingual Spanish would be preferred
