A day in the life…This position will be responsible for performing all preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and programming of building and production electrical distribution systems, equipment, controls and associated documentation in support of on-going Fulfillment Center operations.Shift: 10pm-6am; Sunday-ThursdayPerform maintenance, diagnostics, repair, programming changes and component integration of all process controls associated with the material handling equipment systems.Perform maintenance, system diagnostics, and component repairs of building electrical (480 VAC) distribution , HVAC, CCTV, Access Control and Burglar/Fire Alarm system hardware components to ensure consistent on-going operations.Operate equipment: forklifts, scissor and boom lifts, hand tools, and energy management equipment in order to perform system support tasks as required.Maintain high performance and customer service expectations while taking initiative and follow through completely.Openness to try new ideas and raise questions/issues in a constructive manner by finding creative solutions when faced with obstaclesMust be able to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision and collaborate with co-workers to meet facility and department goalsMaintain accuracy of facility and equipment systems documentation, schematics and blueprints; administer, maintain and revise standard practices documentation to ensure current, accurate, site-specific technical reference materials and identify critical equipment requirements.Work in a safe manner that complies with Occupational Safety and Health StandardsAvailable to respond to emergency service calls outside of normal work hour

You own this if you have…· Associate Degree - Industrial Electrical / Maintenance or 2 year Technical School degree equivalent.· Five years progressive responsibility / experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of high speed, automated material handling equipment, its control systems and associated I/O devices.· Ability to read and understanding control panel schematics and electrical and mechanical layout drawings.· Specialized training or technical education in diagnostic, repair and programming of Allen Bradley SLC5, PLC5 and Micro-Logix PLC’s utilizing the RS LOGIX 5, 500 & 5000 Programming Interface software, Linear pulse encoders, Siemens PLC S7-400, and PLC S7-315.· Specialized training or technical education in diagnostic, repair and programming of INDRAMAT Servo drives, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, soft-start and other industrial motor controls.· Documented troubleshooting experience dealing with photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, optical sensors, limit switches, safety switches, motor soft start and across the line starters, temperature controllers, thermocouple and signal wiring (0-10vDC and 4-20mA), chart recorders, SCR controls, and other industrial electrical equipment.· Demonstrate knowledge of the current NEC codes relating to the routing, conductor sizing, and fill quantities of various conductor types/sizes.· Demonstrated ability to work with computers and controls interface applications is required.· Demonstrate comprehensive problem solving, troubleshooting, mathematical and mechanical skills.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.· Demonstrated ability to work as a dynamic team member within a production facility maintenance department.We’ve got you covered… We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision and dental coverage, a fabulous merchandise discount, an employer-matched 401(k) plan, a profit-sharing plan and much more.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a diverse environment.
