Description of Duties/Essential Functions Benefits Supplemental Questions

Supervises lower level employees in the preparation and service of food to patients and in the general cleaning and sanitation of the Dietary Department. Prepares some food and supply orders. Ensures the proper use of facilities, equipment and machinery as directed by the Dietary Manager; conducts inspections of equipment and facilities and maintains proper safety and sanitation conditions. Assists in the orientation and in service training of dietary employees.

Minimum Requirements:Requires two years experience in the preparation and service of foods and functional supervisory experience. Requires a valid Illinois Food Service Sanitation Certificate.
