Job Title: Workshop Facilitator

Position Classification: Non-exempt

Location: North Loop, El Paso

Type: Variable Hour

Primary Objectives of Position: Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods for individual, group and workshop trainings.

Essential Job Functions:

* Select or develop teaching aides, such as training handbooks, demonstrations models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.

* Deliver training in various classroom formats, using relevant training materials and a variety of media to address the individual needs of learners.

* Continue to update and revise course content and teach methodology in order to maintain currency and relevance aligned with Center wide goals.

* Consult with management to determine training needs based on regulations and rules of Workforce Service programs.

* Utilize Extreme Customer Service in the delivery of services provided.

* Prioritize and maintain effective work relationships with peers and partners and take initiative to assist team members when needed to enhance service delivery.

* Maintain accurate records, including training schedules and attendance and any required system documentation.

* Organize training venues, logistics and accommodations.

* Maintain process to measure outcomes and customer satisfaction and utilize the information to make recommendations on continuous improvement opportunities.

* Contribute to improving services by serving on work groups and managing special projects.

* Utilize Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Physical requirements include carrying/lifting up to 5 pounds, frequently; up to 10 pounds, regularly; and up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to drive an automobile and operate computer keyboard and basic office equipment; subject to carrying, lifting, twisting and reaching to perform essential job functions. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment with occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education or Social Work or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least two years' experience in training and public speaking for a diverse audience required. Ability to create or modify training material and develop practical application exercise related to required training material strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Workforce Service programs required.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customers via presentation, in person, telephone and written forms. Basic computer literacy including ability to use the Internet and Microsoft Office products. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and Extreme Customer Service orientation. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
