SMB Sales 1 & 3 year goals Deliver targeted revenue growth through improving trial to activation conversion rate Drive upper double digit YOY growth through increased sales efficiencies, channel development, coach and improve individual sales people’s performance, craft strategy and tactics for attach sales across the Intuit ecosystem Drive and develop a culture of inclusiveness and performance High level proficiency using data to make decisions is a requirement Span of Control Lead our SMB, Accountant, and Channel teams of ~60 sales specialists plus 4 sales leaders Lead our Franchise and Reseller Channel efforts Leadership input and responsibility for Global TSheets Sales efforts Collaborate with Intuit’s inter-segment sale teams across the country This Sales Director position will drive Intuit customer/revenue growth across SMB, Accountant, Franchise, Reseller, and other Intuit Ecosystem channels. Which success for this role will be measured by Responsible for ~ 100% YOY revenue growth Growth of sales through our Accountants to their small business customers Franchise and Reseller Channel Sales Trial Start to Activation Conversion rates Referral to Activation conversion rates Revenue growth through expanding share of wallet of customers through attach sales of solutions such as payroll, payments, Time & Billing, Tax Qualifications Education Minimum Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Masters in related field preferred. 10+ yrs of sales leadership with at least 5 years at Director or above for inside sales teams with an emphasis on SMB marketing / highly transactional Consistent record of growing sales efficiencies and close rates Strong Sales Acumen and validated sales methodologies / processes Deep experience using data to gain decision-making insights Experience selling across multiple product lines Accountability for results a clear record of accomplishment taking ownership for engaging employees, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful sales strategies and execution. Consistent overachievement of sales targets. Strong executive presence and credibility with a reputation for unquestioned integrity and management skills that allow for instant credibility with employees, customers, and shareholders Track record of success working and influencing a dynamic organization at all levels, being persuasive and effective even where no direct reporting relationship exists A passionate and skilled communicator who can articulate the Intuit vision in a clear and compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm and a dedication to the vision in subordinates, peers and external partners A team-oriented, assertive personal style; highly developed social skills and adept as an influencer and negotiator Analytical Thinker – Personally mines complex data for insight. Can personally synthesize data to find overlooked conclusions and develop workable solutions which result in business growth. Demonstrated ability to teach the skills, and build this capability in the organization. Customer-focused - tenacious about peeling the layers to understand customer behaviors and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point they have with Intuit. Strategic thinker - you will combine classic strategic sales skills with experience in multi-channel sales with strong B2B telesales & partner reselling (SMB’s) Partnering - track record of success working and influencing in a fast-paced, matrixed organization, being persuasive and effective to meet goals even where no direct reporting relationship exists Talent stewardship - able to attract, grow and retain talented employees and lead the team to become a high performing, highly engaged organization. Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with in depth understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology Added plus would be experience as a leader with an influencer or “indirect” team that drives revenue more through influence then direct sales (could be a VAR – value added reseller program as an example or through third party selling, i.e. through distributors)
