Nelson Frank Durham, NC

A well regarded end user is looking to add to their world class ServiceNow team. They are a fairly new platform, having gone live just before Knowledge18. The IT Department has been given a very generous budget to invest in ServiceNow, and they're committed to fully utilizing the potential of the platform, and giving all the support it needs to be successful. This includes adequate staffing numbers.

So far they have built out a great team to enhance and manage ServiceNow within the organization moving forwards. This team includes both technical developers and non-technical delivery and management staff. The next piece of the puzzle is an Asset and Configuration Manager.

They are looking for a candidate with both IT Asset Management and CMDB experience in a ServiceNow context, to drive the continual improvement in methodologies, processes, best practices and standards of the business moving forwards. You will work closely with the wider business and IT team to scope the CMDB and Asset Management processes in line with business needs, and in line with other ServiceNow processes (Incident, Change, Release etc). You will be the person in the organization to identify which CIs need to be identified and managed.

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive ServiceNow experience
  • Extensive and in-depth experience in the design, implementation and documentation of the CMDB
  • Must have experience with IT Asset Management
  • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and resources, including several scopes at the same time

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic organization, who is on an upwards ServiceNow trajectory. On offer are some of the best benefits in the business including 44 days PTO. Having placed a lot of the team, I can confirm that you'll be working with an excellent caliber of colleague.
