The post-college candidate's primary role is to successfully aidand assist the Custom Solutions Engineering team in planning, tracking, and monitoringthe successful execution of programs and pursuits. You will interface withengineering management and senior engineering leads. This position requires anarticulate, self-driven candidate who has a proven ability to organize andmanage complex projects and has a basic understanding of Project/Programmethodology. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented person who can workindependently while managing a wide variety of projects. Effectiveinterpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

* Coordinates the ordering and tracking of the shipmentof equipment.

* Assists in the tracking and/or maintenance ofprogram/project schedules, action items, financial and milestone performance,risk management tools, and tasks in the change management tools.

* Assists in the preparation of internal andcustomer presentations and monthly reports.

* Builds stable working relationships internally. Contactsare primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel in engineeringgroup or Engineering Project Support department.

* Solves routine problems of limited scope andcomplexity. Follows established policies and procedures in analyzing situationsor data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributions are usuallylimited to task-related activities. Errors do not typically have a major effecton the organization or project.

* Normally receives detailed instructions on allwork. Work is closely supervised.

* Develop an understanding of relevant companyand engineering processes.

* Prepares product reports by collecting,analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

* Provides engineering information by answeringquestions and requests from internal and external stakeholders.

* Maintains product and company reputation bycomplying with government regulations.

* Protects company IP and technical data fromunauthorized disclosure; complies with ITAR regulations.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishingrelated results as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility

* No direct supervisory responsibilities.


* Occasional travel may be required.

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or anapplicable engineering or science field; or in the absence of a bachelor'sdegree, six to eight years of related experience.

* Expertise with Microsoft Office© programs suchas Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel. Knowledge of MicrosoftProject© also desired.
