Software QA Lead

Cartegraph Dubuque, IA

Cartegraph is in the business of building high-performance government.

Our team is devoted to empowering people in government operations to become more effective, more efficient, and more productive for the benefit of their citizens. We design, build, and sell software that helps local governments capture valuable infrastructure data, analyze it, and prepare for the future.

Bottom line: Your hardwork and innovation will directly help cities and counties use their time, materials, and taxpayer dollars to maintain their infrastructure and provide a better quality of life for their citizens. Pretty incredible, huh?

Cartegraph is seeking a talented, motivated Agile QA Lead to help take our high quality software to the next level of automation. You'll collaborate with a wicked smart team to build cutting-edge products that are changing the way our cities and counties run. We take our quality seriously and regard it a critical element in maintaining epic levels of customer retention.

We are looking for someone to bring solid existing QA experience with a focus on scalability through test automation, preferably with demonstrable experience applying a highly efficient automated approach. You will promote software quality and best practices across all the software development teams as well as be an advocate for quality throughout the organization. You'll be testing web applications using modern tools and frameworks—including Angular 4, TypeScript, Knockout, Gulp.JS, and Ionic with a back-end REST API—and do continual deployments with Octopus Deploy for Dev/QA cycles.

This role is focused on the advancement of our QA strategy through technology and automation; however, as an active member of the QA team will involve other day-to-day QA activities including non-automated testing.
