The Client Services Specialist will be responsible for providing solutions, training and service to a set of customers. The Client Services Specialist will interface with contacts at all levels of management including Senior Executives to ensure customer success in their business processes related to payroll, benefits and basic general human resources. The person in this position will also use their expertise in systems and reporting to offer value to our customers by assisting them with becoming more efficient through the utilization of our technology. This may include representing TriNet at customer sites. In addition, the Client Services Specialist will work with cross-functional teams to focus on enhancing the customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work independently to resolve general customer and employee issues related to payroll, benefits , reporting and basic general human resources

* Organize and prioritize work to ensure timely, effective, efficient, and economic delivery of services.

* Solve client problems, taking a broad perspectives to identify solutions

* Deliver excellent account/relationship management, customer service practices and compliance advice.

* Provide tactical services and delivers dependable, accurate, appropriate, timely, and easy to-use value-added solutions to meet customers' needs.

* Ensures proper triage and escalation and effective resolution of basic human resource issues and challenging client interactions and expands capabilities by escalating to subject matter experts.

* Provide value-added human capital services with client executives to ensure client retention including delivery of Human Capital Best Practice Guide

* Manage open cases and service orders in CRM system for assigned clients to resolution in shortest possible timeframe while keeping client regularly informed of status and anticipated resolution date.

* Builds TriNet capabilities and expands human resource knowledge, and experience, by participating in professional development, training and mentoring opportunities.

* Assisting clients by phone and or email with payroll, benefits and HR administration as needed

* Responsible for taking initiative and actions towards your professional development to include obtainment of professional certifications

* Responsible for managing multiple clients with 1-19 work site employees.

* Responsible for maintaining high client retention.

* Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College degree desired, or minimum 5 years Payroll and HR experience in lieu; or equivalent combination of both education and experience.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

* FPC (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire)

* SHRM PHR and/or college-level HR Course Certification highly desired

Experience:

* Minimum 1-3 years Customer Service, Payroll and/or HR generalist and/or specialist experience required. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Top notch customer service skills.

* Solid content knowledge in Payroll, Benefits and HR Compliance Management.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.

* Mathematical Skills: Intermediate Skill level to effectively and efficiently perform mathematical computation for pricing and conducting data analysis required

* Ability to independently resolve issues.

* Ability to link business need to human capital programs and operational services.

* Knowledge of and ability to explain and give advice on client's payroll, benefits, reporting and best practices and trends in HR Operations/general basic Human Resources.

* Knowledge and strong understanding of TriNet's practices, policies, processes, systems capabilities and limitations.

* Ability to gain the cooperation of others in pursuit company goals.

* Computer Skills: Ability to operate a personal computer to accomplish work and leverage technology to gain efficiencies required. Must be familiar and proficient with basic desktop applications including email, word processing, and spreadsheets. Skills with PowerPoint application desired.
