JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

The HRBP will partner with clients to provide day to day HR support to Corporate clients within the business they support. He/she will partner with managers on policy interpretation, employee relations, and roll-out of general HR policies and programs. He/she will coach and guide as needed to provide direction to their business partners. He/she will liaise as a representative of TriNet between manager and employee, overseeing employee relations and policy interpretation. This involves receiving and effectively handling employee complaints, providing coaching, and escalating complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal action when necessary. He/she will also, update employees with any changes in company policy, advising supervisors on treatment of staff and company policies, respond to employee violations of policy and generally help to resolve conflict in the workplace. This role will have both functional client alignment first a and regional/site responsibilities to support performance counseling and intervention as referenced herein.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor s degree with a focus in Human Resources Management or a related field in Business Administration from an accredited college/university; MBA or an advanced degree from an accredited college/university is preferred

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): SPHR preferred

Experience: Seven to 10 (7-10) years' experience

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

* Extensive experience with employment practices, policy development and interpretation, employee relations, and immigration matters

* Partner with management to provide HR guidance and consultation on people issues.

* Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.

* Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations.

* The provision of sound professional advice and direction for all aspects of human resources to all levels of the organization

* Consult with Supervisors, Managers, Directors regarding staffing needs; develops and implements strategies to meet long-term and short-term objectives

* Advise on staff development

* Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation, and enterprise agreements

* Organizing and carrying out assignments with sound judgment and a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy

* Strong interpersonal and negotiation/persuasion skills and conflict management skills

* Excellent verbal & communication skills and ability to establish rapport with managers

* Self-directed and motivated

* Advanced user of PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and structure information

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)

* Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting

* Travel requirement may be up to 25%
