Job Details

Under the direction of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist, the technologist performs various Ultrasound procedures and operates Ultrasound Equipment to produce diagnostic images of anatomy requested by the referring physician.

Must be a graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program or possess an Associate's Degree in an Accredited Allied Health discipline. Must have two (2) years of experience in an OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. Three years Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred. Exposure to first trimester screening preferred. Must have basic computer skills; advanced skills in operation of OB/GYN specific software reporting systems preferred. Must be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OB/GYN. Must have a current certification in CPR.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

* Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy specific to OB/GYN

* Experience in OB ultrasound

* Strong communication skills

* Knowledge of PACS preferred

* Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
