Position SummaryThis position maximizes equipment reliability through the implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) activities as well as production repairs in the areas of electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics. It involves working independently or within teams of Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Reliability resources along with other functional groups in support of equipment reliability objectives.

Accountabilities1.Handles varying degrees of complex mechanical, electrical & electronics assignments including solid state control systems, AC & DC drives servo motors, device calibrations & voltages up to 480VAC.

2.Monitors equipment performance & reacts to sub-standard performance & emergency repair needs. Install, debugs & makes modifications to new installations.

3.Completes preventive (PM) & predictive (PdM) maintenance assignments.

4.Efficiently operates across diverse assignments including all types of PLANNED & UNPLANNED work.

5.Completes planned work through the Planning, Scheduling & material kitting process.

6.Practices precision maintenance techniques where required.

7.Provides input to the Planning & MRO functions in support of process improvement. Assures required parts are readily available & on the Bill of Material (BOM).

8.Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) involvement in areas including but not limited to:

oFollowing the work order management process including creating accurate notifications & work orders

oLocating parts & information by using search functions

oConfirmation of time worked on work orders

oCompleting documentation

9.Active in Root Cause Analysis & continuous improvement initiatives supporting Quality, Reliability & Engineering initiatives.

10.Communicates & interacts well with vendors and other colleagues as necessary.

11.Communicates maintenance activities across shifts & across functions as necessary.

12.Displays excellence in all housekeeping, LEAN & 5S opportunities.

13.Consistently meets Safety, Quality & Operations standards including required documentation.

14.Operates equipment including startup & shut down as necessary.

15.Completes all work assignments in a safe & efficient manner following all Edgewell Safety & GMP policies & regulations.

16.Required to work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs dictate.

17.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and ExperienceEducation:

oHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

oTechnical School Electronics training or College Electronics training or 4 year equivalent Industrial and/or military electronics background.

Experience:

oSuccessful completion of an On the Job Training (OJT) assessment.

oHave worked within a Maintenance Organization for at least 5 years with a demonstrated knowledge of electronics, electrical, mechanical, & instrumentation skills.

oDemonstrated knowledge of Preventive & Predictive Maintenance tasks.

oAbility to train & develop other colleagues including their progression through structured performance levels.

oExperience working in a high speed manufacturing environment including the ability to use & understand commercial English grammar, basic arithmetic, decimals and fractions, simple formulas, charts & tables.

Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

oProficient in the use of a PC, electrical & electronic test equipment, most hand tools & precision measuring instruments.

oMust be proficient in utilizing electrical (230V & under)/electronic test equipment for the purposes of debugging and repairing solid state equipment control (digital logic) systems.

oAble to work from schematics, sketches, written and verbal instructions, and able to efficiently complete assignments in a timely manner under a minimum of supervision.

oMust be proficient in writing and understanding software programming.

oDemonstrate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) skills.

oDemonstrate leadership skills in the areas of Safety & Quality.

oAbility to develop, follow & improve job plans & equipment set up procedures.

oEffectively collaborates across all functions & levels of the organization.

oAbility to be self- motivated & drive process changes on the floor.

oAbility & desire to expand one's personal skill sets towards newer technologies.

Working Relationships & Environment$28.19 or more per hour, plus applicable shift premium

$2,000.00 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance available (some restrictions),

Night Shift 7:00pm to 7:00 am, 2/2/3 rotating schedule

Electronics and Mechanical Aptitude testing required
