We'll Provide the Training and Tools You'll Need
Home and Community Based Treatment Services (HCT) is a short term, home based, family therapy program that addresses mental health and behavioral issues of children 0-21 years old.
As a Behavioral Health Professional, you will make a difference in the lives of the children and young adults we support by working directly with them in home and community settings. Some of the ways in which you'll support the children and young adults in the HCT program include:
- Teaching daily living skills to children and young adults with a variety of behavioral and social needs
- Helping them work on behavioral and social goals that they need to meet
- Working closely with supervisors to learn techniques to help the client meet their goals
- Working with the families to help them use those techniques with the clients
- Transporting clients
60 higher education credit hours in social services, human services, health or education, or
90 higher education credit hours in an unrelated field, or
High school diploma and 3 years' direct experience working with children in a behavioral health children's services program.

** $300 Bonus for BHP’s Hired with BHP Certification **
If you have full BHP Certification (50-hour course), UCP of Maine will give you a $300 bonus in lieu of providing BHP Certification training. ($150 after your 90 day review, and $150 at 6 months from date of hire.) BHP’s must present certificate at hire. Training/certification previously provided by UCP of Maine does not qualify for a bonus.
The position offers a flexible schedule with primary hours after school and on weekends.
