Enterprise Payments Product Manager

Description

The Enterprise Payments Product Manager reports to the Enterprise Payments Lead. This role supports the Enterprise Payments experiences and solutions in the General Motors eCommerce space.

Example responsibilities could include:

* Act as subject matter expert for our enterprise payments activities, including global payment gateway, payment processing services, and alternative payments methods, for our internal and external customers.

* Work with the Enterprise Payments Lead to define and communicate the Enterprise Payments roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.

* Act as a single point of contact for defining the enterprise payments product features, experiences, and solutions, for our internal and external customers.

* Define and execute promotions and communications initiatives geared to excite, educate and inform our internal and external customers and stakeholders.

* Collaborate with internal and external business and GM IT stakeholders to ensure payments enablers are properly planned and resourced

* Ensure the payments related user experiences are focused on delivering customer needs and exceeding expectations.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including GM IT, to define requirements for payments related experiences and technology solutions

* Work with Enterprise Payments Project Manager to ensure payments projects and enhancements are delivered as planned.

* Provide the GM Enterprise with eCommerce industry thought leadership on new payments solutions and enhancements.

* Represent business in technical discussions and ensure business requirements are defined and prioritized appropriately.

* Flexibility to pitch in on other projects as needed.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience

* 5 years of eCommerce Payments experience, preferably with consumer facing, omnichannel, eCommerce platforms.

* Strong, proactive, leadership and collaboration skills

* Strong data and insights driven mindset with a focus on delivering the best customer experience

* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment in a business space that is new to GM

* Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization

* Experience working with payment solution vendors, across the payment rail spectrum, checkout to payment gateway to acquirer/processor, to issuer, to deposit bank

* Experience with vendor collaboration and management

* Understanding of Automotive manufacturer and dealer landscape valued, but not required

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
