Job Overview

The SAP Functional Analyst position will be responsible for 3rd level support of a running SAP Logistics template and the Functional lead for further SAP roll-out projects. Expert level SAP functional expertise in 2 of the following SAP modules is required; SD, MM, WM, PP, APO.


Provide SAP functional leadership of As-Is & To-Be analysis within roll-out projects. Lead the documentation of process Gaps through decision of process change or IT change.

Create functional specifications working closely with the business owner and development team

Use extensive SAP Functional experience to recommend standard SAP functionality to cover business processes

Provide 3rd level SAP Functional support to assigned Modules following standard ITIL processes for Incident, Problem and Change Management

Work with all impacted SAP modules to ensure proper integration and regression testing is carried out for all changes

Work with business process owners to create and document the appropriate test cases and scenarios in the testing tools

Provide detailed project status reports following Detroit PM standards and processes

Focus on the integration of the end to end processes across a complex process and IT landscape ensuring quality through structured SDLC procedures

Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of process and system

Solve complex process and technical challenges within assigned area

* Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience OR an associate's degree with 4 years of related experience OR 8 years of related experience required.

* Bachelor's Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred

* At least 1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required

* An attached resume is required

* 5 years of experience working as a SAP Functional resource in SAP SD, MM, WM or PP required
