Operations Analyst - RFM

Position Description:

Position Summary

The Operations Analyst will perform analysis on a wide array of areas related to transportation and operations across the enterprise. This person will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to research, define and implement new business processes and tools to allow for efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products.

People or Process Management Responsibility: None

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

* Analyze and recommend adjustments in strategy as it relates to improving productivity and reducing waste, ensuring maximum performance and effectiveness through collaboration with business unit leaders

* Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors

* Create and maintain reports and scorecards for Sr. Leaders; develop appropriate KPIs and publish and maintain monthly and quarterly KPI's for Reyes Fleet Management's business partners

* Collaborate and lead special projects and process improvements, including remote diagnostics, fuel studies, deep dive analytics and spare analysis measurements.

* Apply logical and critical thinking skills to identify operations trends based on data

* Interface with field teams to assist with improvement initiatives and associated best practices

* Conduct presentations of analyses and recommendation to leadership as needed

* Identify operations trends based on data and formulate recommendations to address trends

* Implement recommendations based on analysis to include changes in operations techniques and/or procedures

* Identify needs for analysis, conduct analysis, and present findings and recommendations to senior management

* Work with financial representatives from business units to implement recommendations generated from analysis

* Any other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business or a related field OR equivalent work experience in the field of Transportation/Operations

* 5+ YOE working in an analytical capacity in operations or transportation within a high volume distribution or manufacturing organization

* Ability to present ideas and data to Sr. Leadership

* Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on details

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

* Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the company and collaborate effectively

* Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem solving skills

* Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time

* Ability to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, expert level in excel

* Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to various situations at the same time

* Excellent communication skills, quantitative skills and problem solving skills

* Willingness and ability to travel domestically 25-30% of time

* This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
