Technical Accounting Manager

This position is responsible for: creating, reviewing, analyzing, updating, and executing day to day accounting activities.

1. Manage revenue and COGS month-end close activities: prepare journal entries, reconcile between different systems and prepare account reconciliations

2. Tracking deferred costs related to deferrals to ASC 605-10-S99/deferred revenue

3. Provide data for external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits

4. Partner with FP&A to develop revenue and COGS forecasts

5. Actively participate in the revenue accounting processes by working with the Sr. Revenue Manager to improve data analytics, processes and system reporting

Skills/Requirements

Requirements:

1. Experience with ERP Software Revenue Recognition (Oracle, Net Suite)

2. . Experience working with Saved Searches and Revenue Report building skills in Net Suite

3. Technical Revenue Recognition (ASC 605 and ASC 606) (ASC 606 Implementation experience preferred)

4. Highly analytical, with strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (intermediate or higher/Access desired)

5. Detail oriented

6. Ability to navigate well in matrixed setting (Sales, FP&A, C-Suite)

7. Minimum 3 5 years in accounting-combination of industry and public accounting experience (including audit) preferred

8. Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master of Accounting preferred)

9. CPA preferred
