The Exhibit Systems Supervisor will be responsible for planning and producing Exhibit Systems in accordance with work orders received from management, sales, or customer service while keeping job costs at the lowest possible level and maintaining quality and safety standards.

* Directly supervise employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Train employees, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees. Participate in the hiring and firing decisions as required. Address complaints and resolve problems with employees.

* Review orders and understand how to accomplish the final results.

* Work with other departments to produce orders as needed including custom cut requests for the Carpenter Shop.

* Ensure that team packs and stages all exhibit elements including stock materials and special order items.

* Participate in all production and staffing meetings to stay abreast of potential staging, timing, or production issues.

* Coordinate labor, aerial equipment, forklifts, and material handling equipment with the operations team.

* Maintain accurate labor, equipment, and material records as required.

* Produce production schedules and labor budgets.

* Inventory all work orders and returns to the Account Executive, Exhibitor Services and/or Sales accurately.

* Maintain quality control to ensure standards are met.

* Ship and receive exhibit systems equipment for in or out of town jobs.

* Receive copies of drawings and purchase orders for ensuing jobs.

* Direct installation and dismantle labor and watch repacking closely to avoid any potential damage.

* Coordinate trucking to and from showsite.

* May manage quality of inventory.

* May determine what inventory to keep or salvage.

* Perform other duties as assigned.


* High School Diploma or GED

* Minimum three years industry related experience (use the types listed above) and/or training

* Minimum two years of supervisory experience

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Internet applications

* Excellent customer service skills

* Carpentry skills required.

* Must understand how to follow written instructions to install and dismantle exhibit systems as appropriate.
