The Senior Midstream Accountant has the key responsibility for performing the day to day accounting duties of the Company's Midstream Infrastructure. This includes all phases of the infrastructure such as the accounting for the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis used in the financial close processes for SEC reporting and financial information for internal Management reporting, and ensuring that the monthly cost of service billing process occurs accurately and timely. The Senior Midstream Accountant is a key participant in the interactions of the Midstream Accounting Department with the Accounting and Operations teams and other departments to provide accurate reporting. This includes setting up new infrastructure cost centers as drilling or expansion occurs, revaluations of systems already in existence, and assistance with setting rates charged.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position that are most important to get the job done.

Prepares internal documents used in the financial closing and reporting process, including journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis;Performs the timely and accurate processes of billing for cost of service, pipeline system balancing, or other processes to liaise between the producer and downstream parties, all in compliance with applicable contracts or agreements;Assists in the internal and external audit process by providing support and explanation for Financial information;Complies with and documentation of relevant and adequate Internal Controls;Provides assistance as needed in other areas of financial and operational reporting;Works on complex projects on a team or independent basis;Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the VP Accounting Operations or Manager Midstream Accounting, as well as certain other Financial and Operational personnel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES The specific minimum competencies required for job performance.

Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and Oil and Gas accounting;Possess technical skills including working knowledge of Accounting and Business Process systems, data structure and reporting or query capabilities, and strong PC applications capabilities with Excel, Word and PowerPoint;Strong analytical, documentation, problem solving and research and resolution skills;Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and management;Detail oriented professional with strong written and oral communication skills;Ability to manage and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in a professional and discretionary manner;Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks or work flows;Works with purpose and a sense of urgency, deadline focused and commitment driven.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The scope of the person's authority, including a list of jobs that report to the incumbent.

While there are no direct supervisory responsibilities associated with this position, the Senior Midstream Accountant will demonstrate the ability to lead others on project or work efforts and to serve as a resource or mentor for other Accounting department staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The minimum level of education, experience, and certifications required to perform the job.

Bachelors of Science in Accounting, or Finance with Accounting emphasis;5+ years of oil and gas Midstream experience is preferred;CPA preferred;Strong Accounting system knowledge and experience (BOLO preferred).
