This Sales Assistant position from OfficeTeam will be a long term temporary-to-fulltime opportunity based in the Denver, Colorado area. Your responsibilities - Handling the generation of sales reports and preparations for presentations - Supporting the sales department with the promotion of company products and services - Handling and organizing internal training courses - Supporting efforts to coordinate orders and ensuring completion of process - Assisting sales teams with administrative, technical and clerical tasks - Completing ancillary Sales Assistant tasks as needed - Preparing communications and proofreading documents - Handling preparations for and attending trade shows and conventions - Supplying superior customer service, maintaining a kind and professional manner - Making arrangements related to travel and meetings
- Exceptional social skills, previous experience coordinating projects, and able to work well with all internal personnel, outside clients and vendors - Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required - Strong familiarity with navigating basic office equipment and protocols - Experience with proofreading - Proficiency in order entry - Prior experience with Microsoft Excel - Practical knowledge of research - Knowledge of Microsoft Word - Business review documents experience - Wide ranging experience with database management - Solid understanding of Microsoft Office - Earlier work involving documentation - Skills in expense reports - Customer service experience desired - Solid understanding of MS Outlook - Experience with filing - Good understanding of editing - Quality experience with data entry - Hands-on experience with internal communications - Well-founded grasp of conference room setup cleanup - Comprehension of faxing - Well-founded grasp of records maintenance - Practical knowledge of copying - General familiarity with meeting coordination and planning - Proven knowledge of conference call coordination - Foundational knowledge in projects - Previous experience working with email - Experience with composing various kinds of correspondence - General familiarity with report generation - Command of working as an assistant - Proven knowledge of quality control - Preferred: 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - Skills in PowerPoint - BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field suggested
